Using this site

Read it, take from it, send it to someone. The writing and the code behind the demos are ours, so please don't republish them as your own work.

The demos

Every interactive demo on this site is a working build, but it's a demonstration, not a product. The businesses in them are invented. The numbers, prices, calendars and documents are invented. Nothing shown is a real customer, a real order, or a real medical or financial record. Don't rely on any figure in a demo for anything.

Examples

The systems shown on this site are examples of what we build, not records of a particular engagement. Client work is confidential unless a client tells us otherwise, so what we publish is built to demonstrate the shape of the work rather than to identify anyone.

What we promise on work

Every engagement is defined by a written scope before any money moves. That document names what gets built, what it costs, how long it takes, and what is deliberately out of scope. There are no retainers and no minimum terms.

• You own it. The accounts, domains, hosting and data are in your name from the start, and the code sits in your repository from the first commit. Title to the work passes to you on final payment, and nothing is held back in the meantime. No license, no hostage infrastructure.
• You can leave. Everything is handed over in a form another developer can pick up, with the documentation to do it.
• Scope changes are written down. If the work grows, you see the revised number before it's done, not after.

What we don't promise

Nobody can guarantee a search ranking, a conversion rate, or a revenue number, and anyone who does is selling something. We guarantee the work, the timeline in the scope, and that we'll tell you the truth about what's working.

Liability

This site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, thumb LLC isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use. Liability on delivered work is addressed in the engagement scope.

Governing law

Florida law governs, with venue in Pinellas County.
